Mars University is a Terran Confederation institution on Mars.
A scientist voluntarily defected from Pilgrim Alliance to Terra asking amnesty. It was granted to him, as well as a position of research at Mars University. He made the first discovery concerning the existence of the Dead Dimensions.
Further research revealed that different events in outer space stretched different dimensions in different ways, phenomena perceivable to the Explorers, "seeing" distortions by the varying layers of dead dimensions stretched across them.
